“Evidence of Review” Tools have been Improved

EORThe Evidence of Review (EOR) application was implemented to give Account Executives and Principal Investigators a method to demonstrate required “evidence” that they had reviewed their monthly financial reports.
EOR has been redesigned so that the REQUIRED REVIEW options are at the BOTTOM of the list of Activities or Projects.  The “Detail Reports PDF” button and other tools to find/sort your data is now at the top right of the application.

Two NEW BUTTONS have been added to quickly locate Activities or Projects for the  Account Executives and Principal Investigators. Use of the “My Activities” and “My Projects” buttons will open separate tabs with the desired data, and do not require the search functionality.

We hope that these changes will simplify the required EOR tasks.

FY2016 is coming to a close – View Year-End Dates

July 1, 2016 begins a new Fiscal Year, so the time has come to participate in the year-end closing process.

Don’t wait until the last moment to complete these tasks – get yours in early to beat the RUSH!

Please be aware of these deadlines:

  • Cost Transfers – June 17 (Payroll)/July 1 (Non-payroll)
  • Blanket Orders (Now UShop Renewals) – June 24**
  • Budget Changes – July 1
  • Campus Orders – July 6
  • Travel – July 6
  • Accounts Payable – July 8
  • Cash Receipts – July 8
  • Journal Entries – July 13
  • Purchasing Card Reallocations – July 13

Enhancements to the Financial and Human Resources Information Library

Beginning May 24, 2016, the Financial and Human Resources Information Library will look a little different. Similar to our other apps, it’s “going red”! While the functionality will stay the same, you will see some new enhancements:

  • Reports open in a new tab
  • The Yes/No drop-downs have been replaced with quick-and-easy checkboxes
  • The new “Hide/Unhide Columns” feature can now be applied to the report results
  • The new on-screen search feature can now be applied to the report results
  • The Query “List” tab now uses the more efficient on-screen search feature

We hope these enhancements improve your FIL/HRIL experience.
