Ninety Day Review Notices will be sent by E-Mail

Grants and Contracts Ninety Day Review notices will no longer be mailed to the Principal Investigator; they will now be sent by e-mail. In the e-mail we have asked the Principal Investigator to share the ninety day notice with the administrative person handling this project. If you have any questions, Ask Us.

That’s very nice, but why not cc the administrator? Why have faculty do secretarial work when you have the administrators’ contact info on file for each project…

  2. Rebecca Baggett says:

Actually, the very challenge is that we often do not have the current project administrator on file. One of our goals is to develop a better solution for tracking administrator contacts in the future, but we are not there yet.

GOING GREEN!!! AWESOME.. However there are some concerns in my department. The P.I. has their respective administration handle all of these matters. Even tough you stated they should share, they really do not have the time. Is there any option of proxy access for the email, like we do for E-Pafs? This wold avoid a ton of things falling through the cracks and being missed.

I agree that you need to include email to those people who you have the information on. One of my PIs will never pass the information on.
