Accepting Donations Via Payment Card
Contributions to the University are widely accepted, and often donors wish to use the convenience of a credit card to give their monetary gifts. The University has specific regulations concerning how gifts or development funds are received.
There are several reasons why donations must be processed through the Development Office:
- The Development office is the only office authorized to provide tax receipts on behalf of the University.
- In order to assure appropriate stewardship of their gifts, all contributions must be processed through, or in coordination with, the Office of Development.
The Development Office has customized a way to accept donations online called UGive. Please contact them to add your department to their page for donations to be accepted.
