Location Codes
Description
This application helps the users to find location codes or building information.

Definitions
Selecting Location Codes opens Location Code Lookup. Criteria for Location Code Lookup is:
- Location Code – Enter the Location Code and a table also called Location Code Lookup opens with the following columns:
- Location – What does the location code mean?
- Digits 1 to 4 are the Building Number
- Digits 5 and 6 are the Floor number if required, if no floor number is required, these numbers are 0.
- Digits 7 through 10 are the room number, up to 4 digits, and suite number. If there is not suite number then it is 0.
- What are the restrictions for the Location Code entry box?
- You can enter a minimum of 4 digits and a maximum of 10
- Building – What is the restriction for the Building Name entry box?
- You can enter a minimum of 1 character and maximum of 10 characters.
- Only enter Building names not rooms for your search.
- Floor – Floor number the room is located in the building.
- Room – Number assigned to Room.
- Building Name – Official full name of building.
- Address – Physical address. USPS address.
- Status – Active or Inactive
- Short Bldg Name – Agreed upon designation to have standard short name for scheduling and campus map.
- Location – What does the location code mean?
- Building Name – Enter a partial or complete Building name and a table called Partial Building Name Lookup opens with the following columns:
- Location – What does the location link mean when I get my search results?
- The Location Link will show you all the locations within the same building.
- Building – Four digit number assigned to building.
- Building Name – Official full name of building.
- Address – Physical address. USPS address.
- Status – Active or Inactive
- Short Bldg Name – Agreed upon designation to have standard short name for scheduling and campus map.
- Location – What does the location link mean when I get my search results?
- Order Results by
- Location Code – 10 digit number assigned to a location.
- Building Description – Official full name of building.
- Output Options
- Display on Screen – Selecting this option will display based on criteria selected above.
- Download to Excel – Selecting this option will convert that data to spreadsheet format with the option to Open or Save the data.
