The Utah Procurement Code provides that a procurement may be made without competition when the University determines that there is only one source that can reasonably meet the University\u2019s need for the required supply or service, as described in Utah Code Ann. \u00a7 63G-6a-802<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sole Source Justification:<\/strong> DoctorConnect helps streamline obtaining provider signatures and maintaining HIPPA compliance. This solution has allowed us to provide follow up contact to patients who have been requested for additional visits by their provider. The University proposes using DoctorConnect for compatibility of the software. Estimated transitional costs to a different solution of $46,440.00 are considered unreasonable and\/or cost prohibitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
