American Express Corporate Card has notified us that they have increased the annual fee to cardmembers from $35 to $55.
Payment of this fee should be a cardholder expense, and university departments should not reimburse the cardmember.
Cardmembers are welcome to continue to use their American Express cards, but we recommend that each frequent traveler have a Diners Club Visa card issued through our office. Diners Club cards carry recommended insurance for lost luggage and card rental.
