Year-End:
Discussion: Year-End is a general term that refers to the procedures the University completes at the end of the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) to close the general ledger in preparation of creating an accurate and audited annual Financial Report. Personnel in campus departments with fiscal responsibility are expected to be aware of year end responsibilities and dates. Deadlines for processing accounting transactions are posted on CIS as a link entitled “Year-End Information & Dates.”
