INSTRUCTIONS FOR FEDEX FREIGHT ACCOUNT

Rates: To obtain a copy of contract rates for domestic and international shipments please see the pricing document or contact Elaine Heath via email at elaine.heath@fedex.com, Federal Express @ 858-450-9864. Domestic air and ground rates apply into and out of and within Utah points. International rates apply to inbound and outbound shipments to and from Utah.

Services: To schedule a carrier pick-up use FedEx web-site or call 1-800-463-3339. To obtain your individual agency FedEx account number first call FedEx government customer service to obtain the account number. To have the statewide contract rates attached to your new account number call FedEx Government Service at 800-645-9424. The FedEx National Account Number for the state of Utah is 7046.

Pickup Charges: No pickup charges (air) or weekly service fees (ground) shall be assessed for any shipments tendered to FedEx by agencies or Political Subdivisions.

Fuel Surcharge: A fuel surcharge will be added to all shipments and capped at 7% for all services.

These rates do not include a Guaranteed Money Back (MBG).

The FED EX service guide effective November 28, 2017 and will apply through November 27, 2018 and worldwide directory of domestic and international points served by FedEx can be ordered and sent to users upon request free of charge. The service guide can also be accessed at FedEx. Agencies should trace shipments through this web site prior to calling FedEx customer service whenever possible.

Note: Additional charges apply to services such as dangerous goods shipments and are applied according to applicable sections of the FedEx service guide. Users are encouraged to review the service guide. If any questions call FedEx prior to shipment.

Supplies: Each FedEx truck carries supplies to meet most individual agency shipping needs. Supplies can also be ordered and are sent at no cost to arrive within two working days of request.

Dimensional weight: Dimensional weight is applicable on a per package or per shipment basis on all shipments larger than one cubic foot. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying length by width by height of each package (all in inches) and dividing by 166. If dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges based on dimensional weight will be assessed.

Domestic Shipments:

Time definite delivery of documents and packages door-to-door to every street address in the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico. See service guide for specific application to points served for both express (air) and ground service.

Express Service (Air):

FedEx First Overnight: Delivery first thing the next business-day morning by 8, 8:30, 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. to most areas and by 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or noon to extended areas. Available throughout all 50 states. Saturday pickup and delivery available for an additional charge.

FedEx Same Day: Same day delivery for packages and boxes up to virtually any U.S. destination depending on availability.

FedEx Priority Overnight: Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most areas and by noon, 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m. to some rural areas. Delivery in 2 business days for certain shipments to and from Alaska and Hawaii. Available throughout all 50 states Saturday pickup and delivery available for an additional charge.

FedEx Standard Overnight: Delivery the next business day in the afternoon by 3 p.m. to most areas and by 4:30 p.m. to some rural areas (by 8 p.m. to residences). Available throughout all 50 states (Hawaii outbound only). Saturday pickup available for an additional charge.

FedEx 2day A.M.: Second-business-day delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most areas and by noon to rural areas. Available throughout all 50 states (Hawaii outbound only).

FedEx 2day: Second-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences). Delivery in 3 business days for certain shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Available throughout all 50 states

FedEx Express Saver: Third-business-day delivery by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 8 p.m. to residences). Available throughout all states except Alaska and Hawaii

Ground Shipments

FedEx Ground Business Delivery: Day-definite delivery in 1–5 business days (3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii) based on distance to destination. Delivery by end of business day. Available to every business address in all 50 states (inbound-only service for certain remote locations in Alaska and Hawaii). FedEx Ground Multiweight® rating can help you save money on multiple-piece shipments weighing 200 lbs. or more. Ask your FedEx account executive if you qualify.

FedEx Ground Residential: Day-definite residential delivery in 1–5 business days (3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii) based on distance to destination. Delivery between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tues.–Sat. Available to every U.S. residential address. Packages up to 70 lbs. Options for appointment and evening delivery requirements.

FedEx SmartPost: For shipping low-weight packages to residences; P.O. boxes; and APO, FPO and DPO destinations. Delivery typically in 2–7 business days based on distance to destination (longer time-in-transit outside the contiguous 48 states) We route packages to a U.S. Post Office facility for final delivery. International Shipments

International Shipment Rates cover inbound and outbound international shipments.

FedEx International Next Flight: Delivery in just hours, depending on flight availability. To major cities in more than 220 countries and territories. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

FedEx International First: Delivery in 1, 2 or 3 business days to select postal codes in 20 key global markets. Delivery by 10 a.m. in 1 business day to Canada and by 11 a.m. in 1 business day to Mexico (2 business days for non-document shipments to Mexico). Inbound delivery to select U.S. ZIP codes as early as 8 a.m. from more than 90 countries in 1 or 2 business days.

FedEx International Priority: Delivery typically in 1, 2 or 3 business days to more than 220 countries and territories. Reach major cities in Canada and Mexico typically in 1 business day. Reach major cities in Europe and Asia by noon typically in 2 business days. U.S.-inbound delivery by 10:30 a.m. or noon to many locations. Ship until close of business from Western Europe to major East Coast markets in the U.S. for delivery by 3 p.m. the next business day.

Flat-Rate International Shipping: An easy, economical way to ship internationally. Pay a flat rate (based on destination country) when you ship up to 22 lbs. in the FedEx 10kg Box and up to 56 lbs. in the FedEx 25kg Box. Delivery via FedEx International Priority typically in 1, 2 or 3 business days to more than 220 countries and territories.

FedEx International Economy: Cost-effective delivery typically in 2–5 business days to more than 215 countries and territories. Delivery in 2 or 3 business days to key markets such as Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. U.S.-inbound delivery from more than 90 countries and territories.
