Research Profiles (also known as PURE) is a research management system available at the University of Utah, which aggregates information about faculty and researcher outputs – including publications, projects, awards, teaching activity, datasets, press clippings, posters. etc. Research Profiles includes a searchable web portal that enables you to find and discover University of Utah experts across all disciplines. Research Profiles automatically pulls publication data from Elsevier’s Scopus and combines it with data from other databases (Web of Science, PubMed) to create comprehensive profiles, allowing you to find and be found by potential collaborators at the University of Utah and beyond. You can verify, add, or update the information in your profile – including checking for new publications – at any time. Data in Research Profiles can also be used to generate up-to-date CVs, including NIH Biosketches, with a single click.
Am I included in Research Profiles?
Currently, the University of Utah’s subscription is limited to 800 faculty profiles. If you are not currently profiled and would like to be added to University of Utah Research Profiles, please contact Mary Richardson for options. Research Profiles also works synchronously with SciVal Funding, allowing researchers to use their profile to setup automated funding searches based on research goals and experience, and find collaborators who match specific grant opportunities.
