Attention Small Technology Firms, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Researchers:
Meet One-on-One with Federal Program Managers, Panel Discussions, State Resources and More!
The SBIR Road Tour is a national outreach effort bringing information and influencers of this non-dilutive technology funding opportunity directly to the states. The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide $2.5 billion annually in funding to small technology firms to advance technological discoveries and facilitate the commercialization of innovations. Together they represent America’s Largest Seed Fund.
Take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity to personally engage with representatives of federal agencies and gain insights into the SBIR/STTR process, helping to make your technology win these highly valued funds.
The day’s events include:
- Opportunities to discuss your technology with program managers in one-on-one meetings (*limited slots… sign up quickly!)
- Influential local and national speakers
- Compelling guest panels with an opportunity to hear from the perspective of the reviewer; Doing Business with the Warfighter, and more….
Registration includes access to all activities, breakfast and lunch as well as the opportunity to participate with the SSAC staff in a coaching session the evening prior. This coaching session will provide you the opportunity to hone your ‘pitch’ and quad chart for the one-on-one meetings. (Registration for the coaching session will take place separately, when one-on-one scheduling is completed.)
*The link to schedule one-on-one meetings with program managers will be sent after the registration of this event. Agencies are requesting firms to present a quad chart prior to the one-on-one meetings.
