Description:
Staff at all levels in the organization will benefit from this class. The content will provide essential information for Deans, fiscal officers, business officers, managers, senior managers and accountants on internal controls.  The course will include information about what internal controls are, why they are important, and how they are evaluated. Employees will receive information about the role they play in the University’s “control environment”. Managers will receive information about their role and how to evaluate internal controls when making decisions about task assignments. Case studies will be presented for discussion by participants. This session allows time for questions and answers and has no prerequisite.
