We excitedly announced in June that you could sign up to receive your W-2 electronically.
Now we have more exciting W-2 news!
You now have the ability to view your W-2 form year round. No longer will they be unavailable online after the tax season ends. Your W-2 forms back to 2001 are now available to see all the time. To view your W-2:
- Sign on to the CIS and click the Employee tab (if it is not your default tab).
- Click
W-2 Form Reprint and you will have access to your W-2’s back to 2001.

I think this is a good thing- now more people will suppress their checks because they will have access to their information- year round. Thanks for all of your hard work- have a great day!

The idea is great.
When I view my W-2 online, the year appears as 2001. How will I be able to distinguish multiple years if the current year is showing as 2001?

This is so helpful for those of us who had to file an extension. It is these little things the HR department does for us that makes the U an even better place to work.

Thank you for your positive comments about the oline W2’s. As the Director of Payroll and Compensation, I am very delighted to see the support since we are also launching a campaign for suppression of all advices and the Payroll EBT reports. Information will be coming soon!

One of the nice features of this new applicaiton is it ONLY shows those calendar years in which the employee has a W2. “dxo” (see comment above) worked for the U back in 2001 and is now back. He/She will see 2009 then 2001 in his/her drop down once the 2009 W2’s are prepared. Thanks, dxo, for the great question!
